The Lancaster Virginia Historical Society (LVHS) and Lancaster Community Library (LCL) will co-host a talk by Andy Graff on the “Early Postal History of Lancaster County” September 17 at LCL, 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the program will begin at 7 p.m.
Graff will speak about Virginia’s postal history, with a local emphasis, reported LVHS executive director Karen Hart. He will discuss examples from his collection of envelopes and postmarks from Lancaster and the Northern Neck.
