Edna L. Fink

COLLEGE PARK, MD—Edna L. (Lee) Fink, 90, died in her home of 71 years in College Park, Md., on December 12, 2017, after a courageous, inspirational battle against cancer.

Born January 31, 1927, in Lancaster County to Mary Jane (Lewis) and Robert L. Lee, she married Joseph E. Fink in 1943.

Edna’s husband, Joseph E. Sr.;  and her son, Joseph E. Jr., preceded her in death.

She is survived by sons, Gerald B. and Timothy P.; daughters, Paulette F. Stroud, and Brenda L. Rayno; 13 beautiful grandchildren; 14 sweet great-grandchildren; and 3 precious great-great grandchildren.

She served Holy Redeemer Parish as a member of the Sodality, Ladies of Charity, St. Vincent de Paul and Crafts. She also served the community as a Girl Scout Leader and delivering for Meals on Wheels, and by performing countless charitable acts of kindness.

A  Memorial Mass was held December 18 at Holy Redeemer Church, 4902 Berwyn Road, College Park, MD 20740. Family received visitors at 9 a.m. in the church.  An interment followed at Gates of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, Md.
