
WHITE STONE—Edwin Grover Bosher Jr., known to all as Eddie, 82, of White Stone passed away on June 12, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Eddie is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Gloria Bosher; sons, Paul Bosher (Kristi) of Yorktown, Jason Bosher (Amy) of Virginia Beach; and daughter, Karen Frye of Richmond; eight beloved grandchildren, Carter and Heather Bosher, Haley, Jason Jr., Hunter and Luke Bosher, Boice and Cole Frye; sister, Debbie Reddick; and brother, Tommy Blunt of Richmond; along with many nieces, nephews and extended family who remained close to him throughout his life.
Eddie and Gloria moved to the Northern Neck 52 years ago and raised their family in the Kilmarnock Baptist Church where Eddie taught Sunday school and served as a dedicated deacon. He was a long time Boy Scout leader of Kilmarnock’s Troop 242, retired manager of Walgreens, and retired residential realtor.
Eddie was a treasured soul, he genuinely cared for others and went out of his way to make them feel special with a kind word, quick wit and contagious smile. His passions included western movies, country music, politics, cooking, crab-picking and most of all, spending time with his family and friends who he loved and cherished.
A memorial service and reception was held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 20, at Kilmarnock Baptist Church, 65 East Church Street, Kilmarnock, with Reverend Richard Abbott officiating. A private graveside service was held for family members at 2:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery.
