KILMARNOCK—Tuesday, November 5, is Election Day. Voters will be going to the polls throughout Virginia to elect all 140 members of the General Assembly and many Constitutional officers.
In Lancaster and Northumberland counties, some school board and board of supervisors seats are also up for election, as well as Northern Neck Soil and Water Conservation District directors.
In White Stone, special elections will be held for two seats on the town council.
Lancaster voter registrar Susan Jett noted that absentee voting has been active and continues to pick up as Election Day draws near.
She reminds voters to bring photo identification with them to the polls on Election Day and to the absentee voter precinct at the registrar’s office.
