NORFOLK—Elizabeth Edwards of Norfolk died May 13, 2018.
She was born June 13, 1944, to the late Elmore Edwards and Mariah Ball Edwards of Kilmarnock.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Kilmarnock, and later, New Calvary Baptist Church, Norfolk.
She attended Anna T. Jeans Elementary School, Wicomico Church, and graduated from Central High School, Heathsville in 1962. She earned a degree in library science from Norfolk State College, now Norfolk State University.
She worked at the Armed Forces Staff College Library in Norfolk and various others in the City of Norfolk.
A funeral was held May 18 at New Calvary Baptist Church. Interment followed in the Levy Reese Ball Family Cemetery, Goodluck Road, Kilmarnock.
