Conditions were excellent for the July 14 Nutshell regatta on the Great Wicomico River off Glebe Point.
Five hardy sailors competed on a course near Tipers Bridge. Of the four races, two were triangular and two were windward-leeward, giving the sailors’ skills a good test, not to mention the usual Northern Neck wind shifts, crab pots and threatening thunderstorms, reported Bill England.
