KILMARNOCK—Husband and wife entrepreneurs Julien Patterson and Terri Wesselman received a standing ovation Thursday, September 12, as they prepared to ceremoniously break ground at their newest business venture, Compass Entertainment Complex.
Prompted by guest speaker and developer Jimmie Carter, the nearly 100 invited guests at last week’s ceremony applauded the couple’s efforts to boost the local economy and increase employment in the lower Northern Neck, a goal the two have had for years.
