Farewell Angelina to open RFA concert series

The Rappahannock Foundation for the Arts 2021-22 season, “We’re Back on Track,” will open at 7:30 p.m. September 25 with the all-female country group, Farewell Angelina.

The powerhouse vocalists, named after the haunting Bob Dylan song, are slated to perform at the Lancaster Middle School Theater, 191 School Street, Kilmarnock.

These dynamic songwriters and accomplished multi-instrumentalists are long time friends who respected and admired one another while they were building solo careers, reported RFA president Jamie Tucker.      

With their heart-stopping harmonies over blazing double violins and guitars, they’ve earned soaring praise across the board. Rolling Stone says of Farewell Angelina…“Wickedly smart song writing delivered with a healthy dash of sass…deft playing…into one sonic boom.”
