Farmers market to offer season’s produce

The Irvington Farmers Market will welcome the first blush of the autumn harvest season on Saturday, October 1, with pumpkins, apples, pears and sweet potatoes as well as flowers and plants for the fall garden. 

The market, sponsored by the Irvington Village Improvement Association, will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on the Irvington Commons, 98 King Carter Drive, Irvington.      

The market also will feature local artisans and a variety of prepared….
