LANCASTER—With just a week-and-a-half to go for candidates to get their names on the November 3 ballot, only a few incumbents and newcomers have filed for town council seats and mayoral positions.
In Kilmarnock, elections are due for mayor and three council posts. Incumbent Mayor Shawn Donahue has filed for re-election. Residents Sean Bowles and George Tuck Jr. have filed for town council.
In Irvington, three town council seats will be on the ballot. Incumbent Phil Robinson has filed for re-election.
In White Stone, voters will have an opportunity to elect three council members and a mayor. Current Vice Mayor Irving Brittingham has filed for mayor. Incumbent Randy Reeves Jr., Thomas Wilson and Kara Everett have filed for council.
The deadline to file to appear on the ballot is 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, at the Voter Registrar’s….
