MOLLUSK—Firefighters responded to another suspicious structure fire on Flats Lane in Mollusk last week, according to Upper Lancaster Volunteer Fire Department Chief Danny Akers.

It’s the second time in seven weeks responders have been called to a property of Arthur L. Zdyb.

On October 11, firefighters from Upper Lancaster, Kilmarnock and White Stone volunteer fire departments all battled a house fire at 127 Flats Lane believed to be Zdyb’s primary residence. The two-story waterfront house was destroyed and one of five dogs living at the property was found shot dead in the yard.
