The Five Rivers Fiber Guild will meet at 10 a.m. Monday, May 12, at the home of Penny and Sid Mace, 954 Holly Harbor Road, Reedville. The program will feature several members of the Woodworkers Guild from the Heritage Arts Center at Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, who will demonstrate working with lathes. Mace’s pulled pork barbecue will be provided for lunch.

Visitors and new members are welcome to attend. The group, which meets on the second Monday of each month from September through June, explores all things fiber including spinning, weaving, knitting, crocheting, quilting, sewing, dyeing, needlework of all kinds and paper crafts.
