OPHELIA—Florence Gough McNeal, 96, formerly of Ophelia, died Sunday, July 8, 2018. She retired after 37 years as assistant vice president for First National Bank of Washington, D.C.
She is survived by her niece and caregiver, Phyllis E. Hammock of Burgess; nieces, Jane G. Hayden of Callao and Donna M. Hammer of Havre de Grace, Md.; niece-in-law, Peggy B. Gough of Burgess; nephews, Dale Gough of Baltimore, Md., Robert G. Kelly of Delaware and Tommy Williams of Florida; stepson, Philmore McNeal of Kilmarnock; stepdaughter, Sylvia Davis of Lancaster; and several great-nieces, great-nephews and step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete G. McNeal; her parents, Benton and Lillian Gough; nine siblings; and stepson, Pernell McNeal.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 12, at Roseland Cemetery, Reedville.
