MOLLUSK—The annual Fourth of July Parade at Corrotoman by the Bay was a roaring success.
The roaring engines of go-karts, a full fleet of tractors and golf carts putt-putted around the circle in their best Fourth of July regalia, reported neighborhood emcee Alisson Klaiber. Neighbors from across the community gathered to commemorate another year of independence for America.
It was not just engines that roared, said Klaiber. The sunny conversations, laughs and chatter could be heard across the circle as everyone eagerly anticipated the parade. After the air horn sounded, two little girls on decorated bicycles, a young man on his skateboard behind an open-aired Jeep full of happy children and all….
