Audrey Hinson of Foxwells knows exactly what she wants when she celebrates her 99th birthday on May 19. She will receive her gift 10 days early during a special celebration.
About a year ago, Hinson confided to some friends that she wished she could give a name to the body of water on Windmill Point Road adjacent to the home where she was born and lived in until several years ago when she moved to Tartan Village. She indicated that she wished she could do this before her 100th birthday.
She referred to this body of water as a cove which she and her friends called it when they were young. The cove was a favorite swimming hole with a deep spot where the water entered Little Bay. At one time there was a swing that went over the water….
