The Lancaster/Northumberland Habitat for Humanity (LNHH) Resale Store has a new office/store manager, a new and inviting look and an expanded list of accepted donations.
In May 2021 a tornado tore through the region and wreaked havoc on homes and businesses in the indiscriminate way that tornadoes do—skipping over some and devastating others. The Resale Store at 460 North Main Street Kilmarnock, bore the brunt of the damage to the building it shares with Sal’s Pizza and One Stop, but was able to keep the storefront open initially as repairs got underway.
In August, however, the roof and front structures collapsed, and the Resale Store had to close for an extended period. The store reopened November 8….
