The Steamboat Era Museum, 156 King Carter Drive, Irvington, recently announced the 2025 Friday Fun Days, beginning June 20.
This lively program is designed for ages 4-10 and blends learning with imaginative play, said museum manager Candee Pevahouse. Through interactive activities, games and crafts, youth will discover the fascinating world of the steamboats that once traveled up and down the Chesapeake Bay—how they worked, where they went and why they were so important to life in the region.
The program is $5 per child and extends from 10:30 a.m.-noon. Other dates are June 27, July 4, 11, 18, 25, August 1 and 8.
