
St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 435 East Church Street, Kilmarnock, will host a free Gardeners’ Fitness Workshop at 11 a.m. April 10
Personal trainer and yoga instructor Jenny Landry will provide an overview of safe, effective exercises and stretches. “When practiced regularly, they may enhance the overall gardening experience, reduce the risk of injury, and decrease post gardening soreness,” she said.
“Digging, raking, squatting, lunging, pushing, pulling and twisting challenge our strength, stamina, balance, coordination and flexibility,” said Landry.
