Garfield’s Rescue reports successes

Garfield’s Rescue Inc. (GRI) recently reported its activity contributing to a “great year” for cats in the Northern Neck.

This has been a great year for homeless cats in the Northern Neck. Since Garfield’s Rescue Inc.’s (GRI)  inception in March of 2020 through the end of the year, GRI has rescued and fostered 313 cats, reported president Ann Bedford

“Sixty-one percent of the cats and kittens we take in are found by caring citizens and Northern Neck Animal Control Officers at businesses and residential locations,” said Bedford. “Many of these are thought to be abandoned pets due to their friendliness…
