Genealogy society to discuss surnames

The Middle Peninsula African-American Genealogical and Historical Society (MPAAGHS) will hold a virtual meeting at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 12. 

This meeting will feature a roundtable discussion at which participants will have a chance to share queries and details about their family research, reported president Bessida White. There will be an opportunity to discuss resources and research techniques that have been used successfully as well as to discuss “brick walls” that have stymied research efforts.
