Bon Secours Rappahannock General Hospital recently announced Michelle W. Giese, RN is the June Employee of the Month.
Giese is a nurse in the medical/surgical unit and her nomination praised her for always remaining upbeat and positive in any role she is assigned and even in the busiest patient care situations, reported marketing coordinator Joanna Marchetti.
She was commended for always being available to other staff when help is needed and being a great role model, said Marchetti. Additionally, her colleagues applauded her for the commitment to her faith and giving God glory and honor for the blessings in her life.
Giese resides in Lively with her husband, Craig, and daughter, Madison. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, playing the piano for her church and her newest hobby-cheering on Madison’s volleyball and softball games.
She has been with RGH just shy of 30 years, with a start date of August 1987.
We have an amazing staff here at RGH and it has been both an honor and a privilege to be a part of this great team,” said Giese.
