Girls’ All Conference basketball squad posted

Colonial Beach took two spots on the All Conference #43 girls basketball team and the Lady Drifter’s Keith Dickerson was named the coach of the year after leading his team to the tournament championship.

Alexia Wilson of Colonial Beach was named the conference’s player of the year. Wilson scored 22 points to lead the Lady Drifters last Saturday night in a 51-44 win over Essex in the tournament final. Wilson was also the leading scorer in the conference, averaging 16.1 points per game this season. Her teammate Amber Jones also made the all-conference first team.

Essex High’s Denasia Pratt and Sherece Ball also were named to the first team.
