Senior guard Harmony Taylor helped lead the Lancaster (LHS) varsity basketball team to a 17-4 record this season to be named the Northern Neck District’s player of the year.

Lancaster (LHS) had several looks at three-pointers in the waning seconds last Friday night but didn’t take them as Rappahannock won the Northern Neck District Tournament championships game by three, 36-33.
The tournament runner-up Lady Devils, with a 17-4 overall mark and 9-1 district record, were the regular season champions and earned a home berth as a high seed in this week’s Region 1A tournament. Lancaster and Rappahannock split during the regular season with the Lady Devils winning their first meeting by three, 38-35, and Rappahannock defeating Lancaster, 55-33, in the second.
