LANCASTER—Gloria Crandall Conley, 75, of Lancaster died peacefully August 10, 2023, surrounded by family.

Gloria was born April 29, 1948, to Thomas Eugene and Lorell George Crandall.

She was a devoted member of Lebanon Baptist Church where she served in many capacities. She was a retired vice-president of Chesapeake National Bank. She was a former co-owner of Commonwealth Florist Inc. At the time of her death, she was the co-owner of R.B. Conley Inc., vice-president of the Charles and Nettie Lokey Wiley Foundation and personal assistant to Carol Lynn Holland.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a nephew, Tyler Lee Crandall.

Gloria, affectionately known as Gunga or Aunt Glo, is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert Brown Conley of Lancaster; her daughter, Amy Conley Passagaluppi and her husband, Randy, of Farnham; two granddaughters, Anna Brooke and Laura Anne Passagaluppi of Farnham; her brother, Thomas Leroy Crandall and his wife, Marianette, of White Stone; a sister, Debra Crandall Abbott and her husband, Gerald, of Weems; two nieces, Martha Crandall Smith of Kilmarnock and Jessica Abbott Kersey and her husband, Shayne, of Chesapeake; a nephew, Alex Walton Abbott of Kilmarnock; a great-nephew, William Karas Smith of Kilmarnock; three great-nieces Karla Grace Smith of Kilmarnock, and Aubrey Leigh and Addyson Rae Kersey of Chesapeake; an aunt, Deloris George Dodson and her husband, Meredith, of Hague; and devoted friends, Carol Lynn Holland of Williamsburg and Kent and Clara Pinkard of Kilmarnock.

A private family graveside service will be held.
