Harley, this female Chesapeake Bay Retriever owned by Norm Kubala of Lancaster, recently achieved the rare milestone of completing 1,000 documented waterfowl retrieves. The majority of the retrieves were water retrieves for ducks and Canada geese. The wild waterfowl were harvested in Virginia and North Dakota. In recognition of her achievement, Harley was awarded a double cheeseburger. She is currently on sabbatical during the hunting off-season and only has to make 986 more retrieves to reach 2,000.
