PGA golf pro Don Nelson and Golden Eagle of Irvington LLC chairman Bill Young recently reported a successful first year for Golden Eagle Golf Course and Grill under an agreement between The Tides Inn and Golden Eagle of Irvington LLC.
This arrangement prevented the closing of the course at the end of 2018.
“The support of the community to keep the golf course open has been overwhelming,” said Nelson.
“The Tides Inn management is very pleased with the results for 2019 and is looking forward to further success in 2020,” said Tides Inn general manager Stuart Barwise.
Young noted tremendous support of the community for both the course and the grill.
