Deadrise Disc Golf will hold its grand opening ceremony at 11 a.m. June 11 at Hills Quarter, 480 Old Saint Johns Road, Irvington.
There will be a guest speaker, along with a food truck. Visitors are also welcome to play following the ceremony, according to organizer Davy Nichols.
Created on a portion of the former King Carter Golf Course, Deadrise is an 18-hole course open to the public at no charge.
The ceremony also will include the groundbreaking for the new TriWay Trail, a 9.5-mile trail connecting Kilmarnock, Irvington and White Stone with its central point at Hills Quarter.
