Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, 73 Monument Place, Heathsville, will hold its annual Grandparents Camp during July 7-11.
This half-day, week-long program allows adult and child pairs to create hands-on projects together with each of the Tavern’s artisan guilds. Monday is with the Spinners & Weavers Guild; Tuesday, the Quilt Guild; Wednesday, the Woodworkers Guild; Thursday, the Blacksmith Guild; and Friday, the Crafters.
“Grandparents will not only be making a project with their grandchild, they’ll also be making a memory,” said director Corinne Becker.
The fee is $120. Children must be ages of 8-14. The morning sessions are currently full, one spot is still available for the 1-4 p.m. sessions. Pre-registration is required.
