Great Wicomico Cruising Club drops anchor for the 2022 season

The Great Wicomico Cruising Club celebrated the end of the 2022 season with a family picnic at the home of commodore Jim and Shawn Lamb on Cranes Creek.

Vice commodore Keith and Cherie Carl arrived at the event in their classic Grand Banks trawler. Most members arrived by car to enjoy a delicious barbecue potluck dinner, reported  J. Lamb. Everyone appreciated the great fall weather.

Tom and Cathy Heacock took home the prize for participating in the most cruises in 2022 on their boat Zin, he said. The club is planning the 2023 cruises to destinations such as Onancock, Yorktown, Cape Charles and….
