The Lancaster/Northumberland Habitat for Humanity (L/NHH) affiliate recently welcomed several new members to its board of directors and bid farewell to others who rotated off the board.
“We welcome the addition of people with such talent and dedication to the board. In anticipation of future board rotations, we are always looking for new members,” said acting president Eddy Whichard.
In addition to the departure of board members Kathleen Conroy, Edna Davenport, Deloris Norris, Sheila Rollins, Donald Mitchell, Bill Broaddus and Marty Dwyer, whose terms ended or resigned, L/NHH bid farewell to Tommy Hemans, longtime executive director for the affiliate.
“It is impossible to fill Tommy’s shoes—his role in the community cannot be duplicated. We thank him for his service and wish him well,” said Whichard.
L/NHH is nearing completion of its 21st Habitat home and looking forward to….
