Through songs and storytelling, Joshua Allen on Saturday, June 22, presented The Journey of Ancestral Music and Exploration of the African Ox Flute. As part of the presentation, he performed music on a variety of his hand-crafted horns and flutes at the Lancaster Community Library. A historical exhibit was displayed throughout the week as well. The event was hosted by the Nickens Family Historical Marker Committee, Historic Christ Church and Museum, Lancaster Community Library, Lancaster Virginia Historical Society and the Northern Neck 250th Commission.
