Harding and Smith blaze cross country

Lancaster’s De’Avion Harding and Hailey Smith brought home gold from Williamsburg last Saturday as the individual medalists in the 61st William & Mary Cross Country Invitational.

The two LHS runners won the Division B boys and girls races, according to LHS assistant coach James Timm.

Harding paced 148 runners with a time of 17:57.80 on the 5,000-meter course.

Smith led 118 girls in her race with a time of 21:28.70.
