WHITE STONE—Harry Davis Rowe, 89, of White Stone passed away December 29, 2020. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Thelma Rowe; daughter, Christine Bowen of Kilmarnock; son, Glenn Rowe (Laurie) of White Stone; grandchildren, Tara Clay (Jason) of Charlottesville and Jason Brown (Meghan) of Newport News; great grandchildren, Emma Shirilla, Katie Brown, and Harper Rowe Brown; brother, Lawrence Rowe of Kilmarnock; and sister, Thelma Dixon of Mississippi.
Harry retired after 27 years as a millwright for the Chesapeake Corporation, West Point, and also worked as a waterman and mechanic. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 31, at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock. Interment followed the service at Woodlawn Cemetery, Kilmarnock. Family received friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
