RICHMOND—Six of the eight offenders at Haynesville Correctional Center (HCC) suspected of having overdosed on Saturday, June 15, had been released from the hospital by Sunday.
Five of the offenders were sent to Riverside Tappahannock Hospital Saturday night and two were sent to Rappahannock General Hospital, according to a media alert issued by Harold W. Clarke, director of the Virginia Department of Corrections. One offender remained at Riverside Tappahannock Hospital.
