Henderson brothers appear unstoppable in district basketball

The Henderson brothers combined to score more than Rappahannock’s team last Friday in Lancaster’s 13th straight win of the season. Troy Henderson had a game-high 22 points and Tyson Henderson scored 19 to lead 10 scorers for LHS in its 79-35 win over the Raiders.

The Red Devils remain unbeaten and will play Westmoreland in Montross tomorrow, January 27, and Brunswick Saturday, January 28, at Virginia State University in the Annual Coaches for a Cure Basketball Classic.

Tr. Henderson did most of his damage in the first half of the Rappahannock game, scoring 17 of his total to help Lancaster build a 52-21 lead. The Devils opened with a 25-9 first quarter run….
