There’s a whole lot of celebrating happening in the Henderson household. All three sons of Donte and Melissa Henderson have been a part of championship teams—high school and college—and the Hendersons have spent the last few months cheering on their alma maters in postseason play.

A week after brothers Tyson and Troy helped lead Lancaster High School to an undefeated 29-0 season for the Virginia High School League Class 1 state championship, older brother Tyler Henderson and his Christopher Newport University Captains captured the NCAA Division III national championship.

To make the victories even more special, Donte and Melissa are 2000 graduates of CNU, where they both played basketball. Additionally,

Donte is a 1997 graduate of LHS….
