Henderson United Methodist Church, 72 Henderson Drive, Callao, hosts a time of community fellowship and lunch on fourth Thursdays January through October.
On October 26, Northumberland Public Library’s new Tech Mobile will make its first stop at Henderson, reported Nellie Landrum.
Lunch and fellowship will be shared from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tech Mobile tours will begin at 11 a.m.
All are invited to tour the Tech Mobile, connect to the internet with their personal devices, obtain a library card, check out books, fax, or just marvel at this new moving “branch” library, said Landrum. To see it is the only way to appreciate all the services this mobile library offers.
Henderson has partnered with the library to get this moving “branch” library into the community.
The Tech Mobile will be unveiled to the community Saturday, October 21, at the Heathsville Farmers Market.
Beginning in January, the Henderson parking lot will be a regular stop for the Tech Mobile on the monthly community lunch and fellowship dates.
