REEDVILLE—Henry Clay Saunders Jr., 79, of Reedville passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Flora J. Saunders; daughter, Sharon S. Lewis of Reedville; son, Christopher C. Saunders (Tina) of Reedville; five grandchildren, Maegan Lewis, Brennon Saunders, Collin Saunders, Carson Saunders and Layton Saunders; brother, William E. “Billy” Saunders (Diane) of Reedville; sister-in-law, Polly Hinton of Brown’s Store; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Henry C. Saunders Sr. and Inez Webb Saunders and a sister, Henritta Crowther.
Henry was a member of Tibitha Church of God, Hacks Neck Hunt Club and a retired pilot for Omega Protein.
A memorial service was held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, at Tibitha Church of God, Reedville.
