MOLLUSK—Herbert Savory Reed of Mollusk died November 20, 2021, following a long battle with brain cancer.
Herbert was born August 11, 1960, in White Stone, to the late Clarence Allen Reed Sr. and Stella Hungerford Reed.
A construction worker by trade, he retired early due to injuries sustained from a traffic accident.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Bernard Reed and Jeff Reed.
He is survived by sons Herbert Savory Reed of Newport News and Trevon Donte Reed of Mollusk; brothers, Clarence A. Reed Jr., Garry S. Reed, Joseph L. Reed, Bruce C. Reed and Marvin B. Reed; sisters, Cynthia S. Taylor, Gladys E. Rochelle, Deloris S. Wiggins, Iris L. Wood and Sherry L. Reed; and five grandchildren.
A funeral was held November 27 at Campbell Funeral Home, Kilmarnock.
