Heritage Arts program adds classes to spring schedule at the Tavern

New Heritage Arts classes have been added to the spring schedule at Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, 73 Monument Place, Heathsville.

Coffee-time Sip & Paint will continue from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. April 14, with a class that repurposes old road maps into art. Students will have a choice of making a bead necklace using map scraps, or embellishing small boxes, wreaths and other decorative objects, reported executive director Corinne Becker.

The fee is $35. All equipment will be provided but a small material fee of $5 will be payable directly to instructor Celeste Johnston.

Mosaics Made Easy will be taught by Joan Powell…..
