Grace Church yard sale advertising chairman Lucia Schoelwer recently announced the 31st annual sale raised some $63,300.
Thanks to all who came out on May 4 to volunteer or shop, said Schoelwer, as a volunteer or shopper.
Sale proceeds went directly to community outreach, no funds went to support Grace Church. The sale is staffed by Grace volunteers and has been held the first weekend in May for the last 30 years, she said.
Next year’s yard sale is May 2, 2020, said Schoelwer. Meanwhile, Grace Church will close out the 2019 sale with its third annual “Furniture Blast” from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. July 6, rain date July 13. Sales will be held in the parking lot across Irvington Road from the AWL Thrift Shop.
