The Lancaster Virginia Historical Society (LVHS) recently announced the release of a new book, The Lees of White Stone, Lancaster County, Virginia, 1650-1900, by Lois Crane Williams with Tom Kinney.
On Saturday, November 14, the LVHS will hold a free open house from noon-3 p.m., including a book-signing by Williams from noon-2 p.m.
“Visitors can meet Lois, shop our wide selection of local books plus early Christmas items, visit the 1820s Old Jail and 1797 Clerk’s Office, and view our current archaeology exhibit with artifacts from William Ball’s Millenbeck and Thomas Carter’s Barford sites,” said executive director Karen Hart.
