The Lancaster Virginia Historical Society (LVHS) recently announced tickets are on sale for its seventh annual “Shuckin’ on the Lancaster Green” oyster roast and fall 50/50 raffle from 1-4 p.m. November 9, from 1 to 4 p.m. LVHS museum grounds, 8346 Mary Ball Road, Lancaster.
Tickets are $50 and must be purchased in advance. Raffle tickets are also available for $5 each or $20 for five tickets for a 50/50 drawing with a cash prize of up to $1000. The drawing will be held at the Oyster Roast, but the winner does not need to be present.
The Oyster Roast ticket is inclusive of all food and drinks, music and museum admission. Oysters will be served until 3:30 p.m.
