Historyland Community Workshop seeks new members

Historyland Community Workshop ladies with items for the annual Benefit Sale that provides high school scholarships. The next sale will be held from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. November 20 at Grace Episcopal Church in Kilmarnock.

Historyland Community Workshop (HCW) is a non-profit volunteer organization of people concerned with youth education.

They meet at 10 a.m. first and third Mondays, March through August, and every Monday September through November, at the Lancaster Community Library (LCL), reported vice president Mary Ann McKay.

Members prepare items for an annual sale in November. The proceeds of the sale provide scholarships to graduating Lancaster and Northumberland high school seniors. Proceeds also support….
