KILMARNOCK—Ida Louise Curry Maiden of Kilmarnock died December 7, 2021.
She was born September 20, 1931, to the late Linwood Curry Sr. and the late Fannie Campbell Curry.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Kilmarnock where she worked with the kitchen committee and served as a missionary until her health declined.
Employed as a domestic worker, for many years she worked for Lynn Sanders and her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Allen Maiden; and sons, Charles Maiden Sr. and Terry Maiden.
She is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Jackson of Kilmarnock and Arlene Lee of Oxon Hill, Md.; her son, Stanford Maiden of Weems; sister, Elizabeth Blake of Kilmarnock; grandchildren, Tammy, Shannon, Tanesha, Terreka, Tasha and Charles Jr.; great-grandchildren, Corey Jr., Brian, Gerrell, Tamya, Antonio, Salome and Terry; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held December 11 at Calvary Baptist Church, Kilmarnock.
