KILMARNOCK—The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), in partnership with Lancaster County, Town of Kilmarnock and Northern Neck Planning District Commission, has scheduled a public information meeting to share improvements proposed by two transportation studies underway in Lancaster.
The meeting will be held from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, December 2, at Lancaster Elementary School, 191 School Street, Kilmarnock.
In case of inclement weather, the meeting will be held on December 3, at the same location and time.
One study evaluated North Main Street from Hawthorne Avenue to School Street in Kilmarnock, reported senior communications specialist Darragh Frye. A second, separate study evaluated Irvington Road from Old Saint Johns Road to Harris Road.
