Investigation handed off to proper agencies

KILMARNOCK—The Kilmarnock Police Department has closed the investigation of an alleged abduction and sexual assault incident.

According to Chief Cliff Dawson, the incident was reported to have happened in the Kilmarnock Walmart parking lot on July 10.

After an extensive investigation, it was determined the event did not occur in either Kilmarnock or Lancaster County….
