IRVINGTON—The Irvington Town Council authorized the mayor to sign a memorandum of agreement (MOA) to expand the Steamboat Era Museum for town office space during a Thursday, January 11, meeting.
According to council member Phil Robinson, the museum responded to a draft MOA with several minor adjustments in verbiage to move the project forward.
Town attorney Andrew McRoberts said he has yet to see any major issues or adjustments that need to be made to the MOA but will complete a final review of the MOA once the final draft is complete.
Robinson moved to authorize the Mayor Julie Harris to sign the MOA with the museum on the contingency of the attorney’s final approval. Council member Mary Cary Bradley seconded the motion, which passed, 5-1….
