IRVINGTON—During its December 9 meeting, The Irvington Town Council voted unanimously, 5-0, to simplify the conditional use permit (CUP) approval process, as recommended by the planning commission.
According to commission chairman Julie Harris, the CUP approval process has been minimized to five steps in order to simplify town administrative procedures for the benefit of residents, staff, council and the commission.
Harris said the five steps begin with the zoning administrator working with an applicant to assure all required information is submitted. The administrator will then forward the application to council and the commission members….
