Irvington July 4 parade seeks clubs, businesses and community groups

IRVINGTON—The Town of Irvington recently stepped up efforts to reach out to area businesses, fraternal organizations, clubs and organizations to “join in” for some hometown family fun by participating in the July 4 Hometown Parade.

“We’d really like these organizations that are such an important part of our community to share their message by getting out there with a float,” said town manager Roy Kime.

“Floats can be big and fancy, or small and easy-to-put-together,” he said. “We’re looking for more community participation and we’ll welcome them all.”
